Workshop Descriptions

August 2017 NOTE: I am working on this page. Check back for more Supply Lists over the next few weeks.

I believe every quilter or needleworker should know how to applique. If you think needleturn applique is difficult, or you're not happy with your results, I hope you'll take one of my applique workshops. After taking a workshop from me beginners and experts agree that applique is not only possible but positively addicting!

I've taken a lot of quilt classes through the years where the students have been expected to start a large quilt in the class. As you know, this involves quite an investment in materials and time...and once you get started maybe you are not so enamored with the process and are left feeling guilty that you never finish this large quilt. So, my classes are structured so that your investment in time and materials is minimal, you learn my applique techniques on a small, what could be considered a practice piece, and are free to take your new skills in any direction you want after class...large or small, a pattern from class, a pattern you already have...whatever! You are free to follow your bliss with your new-found applique skills!

Whether you are a student wanting to take a class from me, or you want me to teach at your shop, guild, retreat or other event, here are descriptions of my current workshop offerings. Check my Calendar to see when I'll be teaching in your area, or if I'm available for your event.

August 2017 Note: I am continuing to add links to the Supply List for each class over the next few weeks.

If you don't see exactly what you need for your event contact me to see if something can be custom-fit to your group's needs.

All skill levels are welcome in every workshop.
